Supporting ethical fashion

Slow fashion isn’t just about reducing the number of garments in your wardrobe, it’s a whole approach to fashion which includes where the garments come from, how they are made and what they are made from. At Precious Collaborative, our coats are made from quality New Zealand-made tweedish fabric, hand-woven by the boutique weaving company McLean & Co. in Oamaru. Strong wool is an abundant resource in New Zealand. It is timeless and adaptable, long wearing and yet highly wearable and breathable. It lends itself so well to repair and re-use to fit the circular design ethos.
